With a pull on the lever from a ride operator Waldameer's Comet is on it's way.



It's right out of the station and right onto the Comet's chain lift.



After a forty foot climb under the leafy canopy of several trees the Comet makes a thirty foot plunge down it's first drop.



One of the things I absolutely love about the Comet are the three or four huge trees that grow up and cover the ride beneath their branches.  It really makes for a neat ride.
