Walt Disney World Lake Buena Vista, Florida January 1997 Page Three
Speaking of music it seems that every time I'm at the Magic Kingdom there is some sort of daily marching band parade. Prior to this visit in 1997 my last visit to Walt Disney World was back in 1991 and in that time they redid Tomorrowland to look like something out of a Jules Verne novel than the quasi-futuristic 1960's it was before. In Fantasyland one will notice the old lake and scenery from the unfortunately defunct 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea ride. I hear they closed the ride because of problems with loading and unloading disabled riders. It's sad because I really loved this ride. I'm actually not looking forward to going back to Disney because in the last several years they have removed several classic rides like 20,000 Leagues and Mr. Toads Wild Ride that were very near and dear to my heart. All I can say is that it's just wrong.
