Timber Falls Adventure Park Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin May 28, 2007 Page Three
Avalanche opened at Timber Falls back in 2004. Before that Timber Falls was just another collection of mini golf courses like dozens that fill the Wisconsin Dells strip. I think they added the right thing with Avalanche in order to stand out from the crowd.
Avalanche's lift hill hugs the boundary line between Timber Falls and the mini golf place next door.
The easiest way to describe Avalanche's layout is a big hill, a bunch of little airtime filled hills and a bunch of sharp left turns. There's really not much room for anything else.
Being late in the day at the end of a holiday weekend there was only a handful of people at Timber Falls; most of them employees, so I sent Greg to riding while I took a walk around taking pictures.
