I haven't seen one of these cool arcade games since the 1980's. Sadly this cool Thunder Blade game was not up and running otherwise I'd be pumping quarters into it.
At the appointed time the rope was dropped and the running of the kids commenced. I can understand running to a ride if it's going to be a packed day at a park but there was no one at Stricker's so us old fogies strolled leisurely to our first ride of the day.
With two classic wooden coasters that we hadn't been on what did Brian, Joe and I go strolling off to ride? The Kiddy Turtles of course.
When asked if we could ride the operator looked at us and contemptibly said "You actually want to ride this". Of course...it's a classic Turtle ride designed by the legendary Harry Traver and as long as we're allowed sure.
