Six Flags St. Louis is one of the three original parks in the Six Flags Chain. It opened in 1971 just west of St. Louis and since that time has grown to include a water park, five steel coasters and with the opening of Evel Knievel in 2008 will have three wooden coasters. It sits on a wooded hillside and is a joy to visit.
