Six Flags St. Louis Eureka, Missouri 2002 Page One
Six Flags St. Louis is a nice park to visit. As you can see from the entrance that there are plenty of trees to get some shade under. Also a little tip...the tents to the left of center are the metal detectors added after 9-11. I understand the park needs them as they want to be security conscious but if there's any sort of a crowd this is a monster bottleneck. What Six Flags really needs to do is build a new entrance further out into the parking lot to accommodate the crowds. Once inside the gates there is a really relaxing plaza that is bordered by shops, bathrooms and the entrance to Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags St. Louis water park for those really hot days. Towering over most of the park is one of Six Flag's signature rides, Colossus.
