Flashback's track just glows in the morning sun.
After leaving Kemah the afternoon before we fought our way through
Houston's insane traffic to get to Six Flags Over Texas with just a hour
and a half before the park closed. Most people would just say
"forget it" and go to the hotel or go get dinner but we three intrepid
souls took the chance and headed into the park.
We had figured that Saturday would be busy so we hoped to knock out
several coasters that evening so we wouldn't have to worry about
cramming them into the next day. We ended up doing pretty well in
our short time there by riding
Titan, the Texas Giant, Shock Wave, Mini Mine Train, Mr. Freeze and almost
Batman.
I say almost Batman because after riding Mr. Freeze we saw that Batman's queue was still open so we
sped through its labyrinthine maze of lines in hopes of getting one last
ride. We entered the station unfortunately to
find that Batman was no longer accepting riders. One could get a
little miffed about the fact that they did not close their queue but
still we scored a ton of rides in an extremely short time so I was still
pleased.
