Early on the first Saturday in April die hard coaster enthusiasts crawl out of bed way too early and brave too cold weather for the first ride of the season.  Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is the earliest opening park in the area so Carrie, Bond and I headed out for a day at a park together.

Six Flags and Coke were handing out hats for the first thousand people in the park so here's Bond modeling one of them.

Bond was very patient so instead of making a beeline to the coasters we headed off to the ball play area so Bond could have some fun.
