Here's the pop quiz.
So once you're in the park a season pass upgrade costs $54.99
instead of the $34.99 that they charge outside. That sure sounds
like fuzzy math to me.
Our first stop was at Six Flags Great America's newest coaster The Dark
Knight as we figured the line would be worse as the day goes on.
The Dark Knight was pretty much a disappointment. It's basically a
wild mouse coaster in the dark with a statue of Batman and some Joker
theming on the top level of switchbacks. Ninety percent of it has
absolutely no theming at all. From what I hear Six Flags was paid
to put the Dark Knight coasters in as a promotion for the movie. I
guess they wanted the big bang that Batman Returns got from the original
Batman: The Ride; which is also at Six Flags Great America, but didn't
want to pony up enough cash for anything other than a mediocre ride with
a nice facade.
Man, I see this ride operator everywhere I go from Holiday World when I
lived there to Cedar Point last year to here at Six Flags Great America
this year..
After out lackluster ride on The Dark Knight we were off to score my
second new coaster of the day the Ragin' Cajun coaster.
