The Lost River of the Ozarks looked nice and cool on a hot August Sunday.
The Lost River like everything else at Silver Dollar City looks like it has been there forever with plenty of foliage grown up around it and even some moss covered rocks along its course.
Not listed on the park map and stuffed back in an off the beaten path corner of Silver Dollar City is Becky's Riverside Carousel which was really a treat.
I have been on a plethora of classic hand carved carousels with horses, dragons, goats and other animals but this was the first time I had the chance to take a spin on a black bear.
