As you can see by the crest on the side of the horse here that this carousel was made by the famous Philadelphia Toboggan Company, otherwise known as PTC.

I love the really old carousels because the horses almost feel alive. I don't think any steel, plastic or fiberglass horse can bring a carousel to life.

One last parting shot of the Carousel and it's wonderful house. Every park should have one of these.
