Old Chicago: The Mall Page Two
Here's another shot of the mall and you can see the winding streets with different shops.
Here's an interesting shot of one of the stores. It's of the Old Chicago Tobacco Emporium and if you look closely all the shelves are full of bongs, hookahs, and many other pipes and "drug paraphernalia".
When Old Chicago first opened there were two restaurants but the Colombian House restaurant soon closed and all that was left was the wonderful Old Chicago Biergarten. The restaurant's windows looked out over the amusement park which was really cool. I made sure whenever we went there to get a window seat. If you have ever seen the Brian DePalma movie "The Fury" this is the restaurant that the telekinetic boy sends one of the paratrooper cars through it's window. If you can find the movie it's worth it to see Old Chicago's feature film debut.
