Old Chicago: The Mall Page One
The mall was a pretty nice mall. All the stores were themed to Chicago in the 1890's and they went to great lengths to make it accurate even to get castings of streetlights of the time for the mall.
The main entrance was beautiful with these great hanging gardens.
The stores in Old Chicago were mainly small specialty shops with no large retailers like Sears that you would normally see in a mall. Personally I think Old Chicago would have lasted longer if there were several anchor stores in the mall to attract more local people.
