Mount Olympus began as a small go kart park called Big Chiefs Go Karts by immigrant Demetrios Laskarias along the strip in Wisconsin Dells back in the 1970's. "Big Chief" as Demetrios became known as grew his business over the years acquiring property, resorts and other attractions along with the rest of his family. In the mid 90's he added coasters to the go kart tracks and Mount Olympus was born. This small family business grew into one of the biggest attractions in the Wisconsin Dells with a water park, 6 coasters, hotels and of course numerous go kart tracks.
