As soon as we got to the park we purchased our unlimited ride wristbands and headed straight to the coaster.  The Rock Bottom Plunge is one of two Gerstlauer Eurofighter coasters in the US (the other being Mystery Mine at Dollywood).  



Like the other coasters of it's kind it has a vertical lift followed by a ninety-five degree first drop. 



The placement of the lift hill is extremely cool because you get all the way up there above the roof structure and right up to the skylight windows.



of course you're only up there and able to admire the view for a few seconds before you suddenly whip over the crest and come plunging down.
