Here's Joe Campanella, formerly of the Chicago area finishing off some ice cream before hopping on Wild Lightening.

Ok, Sam, Andi and Tom talked me on this wicked and evil ride!  The Fly-O-Plane is a classic flat ride that let's you control what kind of a ride you get.

I actually had a great time on the Fly-O-Plane and ended up feeling a little queasy when I got off.  I ended up sitting to one side and was stuck down on that side for the ride.  All I could do is turn upside down or sit on my side.
