Boulder Dash opened in 2000 and the "mountain coaster" as it is called had been something that Lake Compounce had wanted to add to the park for a while.



You don't see a whole lot of Boulder Dash's "out" run as it's up there in the trees playing slalom around trees and boulders.  Just a little tip sit on the right side of the train for a few up close and personal encounters with boulders. 



On the way out Boulder Dash just keeps going and going and just never ends. It's a mind blowing mix of airtime, laterals and scenery and you're just convinced that at any moment you're going to hit the turnaround and head back to the station but it keeps going on forever.



Eventually Boulder Dash sends you spiraling down the hill and if you thought the airtime was all over you've got another thing coming.
