Our first stop was Boulder Dash.  Yeah I really wanted to go and take the Wildcat for a ride or hop on Thunder 'N Lightening but Boulder Dash is the big thing to do at Lake Compounce.  Everything else pretty much pales in comparison.



If you don't know Boulder dash is built up and down the side of a boulder strewn mountainside that borders Lake Compounce. 



Here's the top of the lift and being one of the best terrain coasters out there Boulder Dash really doesn't get far off the ground.  I think at the top of it's one hundred and fifteen foot lift you're maybe ten or fifteen feet off of the ground.



Here's the bottom of Boulder Dash's first drop.  Brian was all "there's tons of laterals here so hold on" but it really wasn't bad at all.  Besides no matter how insane I tend to have my hands in the air even on the first ride.  I figure I'm locked in and safe so I'll just go with it, whatever may come.
