Knoebels Amusement Resort Elysburg, Pennsylvania Phoenix Phall Phunfest 1999 Page Three
In the middle of Knoebels is the Whirlwind a coaster by Vekoma with two corkscrew loops separated by a curve. While this ride is not a favorite of enthusiasts some people seem to like it.
Here's one of the loops. Knoebels took out a Schwarzkopf Jet Star to put this in. Personally I would have bought a Schwarzkopf portable looping coaster instead of a rough Vekoma one.
If there's a disappointing thing
about Knoebels this ride is it and the only it. This park is one of the best parks
