Outside of The Racer airtime is something that's lacking in the
rest of the rides at Kings Island. Diamondback more than
makes up for that deficiency.
Just a little tip here for you. Go for the back and put your hands
in the air and extend your legs out. This raises your center of
gravity a little but (don't worry...you're still securely locked in by
the lap bar) and it gives you a little more airtime. I ride my
coasters with my arms in the air and in life I do the same because we're
only on this ride once you you might as well have fun on it.
Diamondback's splashdown is fun. Whenever Bond and I rode in the
back we'd always reach back into the spray then fling it at each other
in an attempt to get the other wet.
It'd be nice though if people on the midway were able to join in on the
splash from Diamondback's splashdown.
