Bond had been wanting to re-visit Kings Island now that he was riding coasters and after they announced Diamondback I wanted to get back to give the latest B&M Hyper-coaster a try.  Even though we wanted to get back there we had no plans to go this year until Mike and Kevin sent us the pair of tickets.  Far be it from Bond and I passing up free admission to a park so after a morning at Six Flags St. Louis and two full days at Holiday World we headed a little further east for a day at Kings Island.

Kings Island has a fantastic early entry for Platinum Pass holders and ACE members that gets you back to Diamondback half an hour before the park opens.

Bond and I met up with Kevin, Beth, Allie and Daniel and headed straight for Diamondback.

Bond wasn't quite ready to give Diamondback a try so he hung out with Allie and Daniel while Beth and I and then Kevin and I got a couple of rides.
