Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Santa Claus, Indiana The Voyage Media Day May 4, 2006 Page Three
Most people probably wouldn't care about this but I loved that the flags on The Voyage were not the wispy kind like those on the Raven or Legend but are full on flags that look gorgeous as the flutter in the wind above you as you come to the top of The Voyage's hill. The view from the lift is fantastic but the view as you head on over the top will take your breath away.
All you can see is track way below you that gets swallowed up by an immense forest off in the distance. The drop is just fantastic as you speed up close to 70mph. A friend described the first half of The Voyage as just being a big blur of green.
I don't see the rocket that it feels like The Voyage has strapped to the back of the train as you head over the hills without losing any momentum. The negative g forces are fantastic over all of The Voyage's hills with some pretty extreme airtime.
