2006 Construction Update

August 20, 2005

It's been a busy week at Holiday World with a lot of visible progress being made on The Voyage.

Here's part of The Voyage's return leg of it's course.  Today there were surveyors out there, a crane off in the woods, a bobcat hauling dirt and people all over the site working on it.

This is the beginning of the hill where The Voyage is going to cross over the base of the lift hill.

There's still a lot of dirt being moved around and I'm curious as to when they are going to start working on all of the groundwork in this area as they have two tunnels to dig.

We have just 259 more days until The Voyage opens to the public on May 6, 2006.  Yes I have started counting down the days as I am seriously excited about The Voyage.
