Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Santa Claus, Indiana 2006 Construction Update August 13, 2005 Page Two
But before heading on down into Splashin' Safari to get a closer look at the work being done on The Voyage Bond had to spend a hour running back and forth through the fountain in Holidog's Fun Town. There's a little more dirt piled up down in the valley this week and here's a closer look at all of the wood that's shown up this week.
While Bond and I were down by The Wave we noticed a man placing flags around there. No they are not going to be doing any construction here. He said that he was looking for reference points further out from the Voyage's construction site so that they could more accurately survey the area and the work that they're going to be doing. Also he mentioned that soon he is going to start the survey work on the site that is going to be Bahari River. So flags should be popping up in the woods between Bahari and The Wave sometime soon. That's all for this week I'll put up more updates when there's something to show.
