2006 Construction Update

Page One

This morning Bond and I headed on over to Holiday World so he could burn off some energy running all over Holidog's Fun Town and so I could check out this weeks progress on The Voyage.

We've got structure where a week ago there was none and there are a bunch of new footers for The Voyage's lift hill.  I think that large concrete slab in the middle of the footers is for The Voyage's lift motor house.

Across from Holiday World's employee parking lot are several new piles of wood for The Voyage.  Even though the structure for the Voyage is going to be metal to save the park on construction costs as well as maintenance they need the wood for the track and walkways that will go alongside it.

After taking a quick check of the Voyage it was up into Holidog's Fun Town where Bond had to get a quick hug from Holidog himself before heading into the fountains to cool off and run around.  Don't worry I have a few more construction photos of The Voyage on the next page.
