Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Santa Claus, Indiana 2006 Construction July 9, 2005 Page Two
Here's one of Holiday World's brand new Raging Rapids rafts in action this afternoon. Today there was a surveying crew on the grounds mapping out the area under the Bamboo Chute so it is very easy to assume that at the very least there is going to be some work going on here even if it isn't going to be the walkway into the new themed area.
Yep here's even more flags under the Bamboo Chute as well as right next to Raging Rapids.
It looks like to me that the footer work in this immediate area may have finished up for now. I'd bet that they are working elsewhere up in the woods now. I can't wait until Wednesday to find out what is going in.
One thing that came to mind this week was that normally the whole area from the road to the woods is planted with corn at this time of the year. This year this huge area was left unplanted so maybe something is going to go in there. I'll keep the updates up and coming when I see something new to post about. What's going to be fun is next week I'll actually have an idea what's going in so there will be no more speculation.
