2006 Construction Update

April 9, 2006

Work continues on pretty much everything over at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in preparation for their 60th season.  You've got work going on down in Thanksgiving with getting all of the little finishing touches done and then up in the rest of the park the rides, shops, restaurants and everything else is being readied as well.

Even though the Plymouth Rock Cafe won't be open for quite a while from the looks of the red flags or cones out there maybe a little surveying work is going on for it. 

From the looks of it The Voyage's fourth tunnel (did I count that right?) is pretty much complete.

The parts of the Bamboo Chute that have been all piled up together until recently in the parking lot are now starting to be assembled.  With this the case I guess one could assume that the pathway heading down into Thanksgiving (that the Bamboo Chute goes over) is nearing completion and they'll soon put this fun water slide back up.

If you're counting down we've got just 26 days to go until the season kicks off.  That's all for now.
