Of course everyone headed down hill and right into the Raven's queue for their first ride of the season. They had the brand new train running today and it was different. I don't mean that the ride experience is changed but the new cars aren't broken in yet. The cushions are hard and it took quite a bit longer to really get going than the old train. It will break in over the next few weeks so mid-summer the new train will be flying around the track like the old one. One of the things that needed to be done in order to add the second train was to add a lot of extra bents and bracing to the structure as seen here with all of that new wood.
When both trains are running one should be going through the brakes while the other train crosses directly underneath it headed up the lift. The Raven felt great today. It was wonderful to have it back after the winter.
