Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Santa Claus, Indiana The Coasterbuzz Fall Affair & 2006 Construction Update October 1, 2005 Page Two
One of the things Coasterbuzz has been doing lately is having a Podcast where Jeff Putz (in black) and a few other people including this weeks very special guest Will Koch get together and discuss the news in the rollercoaster and amusement park world. Since everyone was going to be in one place this weeks show was recorded live and with a studio audience. The great thing about events is that you may know no one when you walk in the gates but you meet others and by the end of the day you're all family. A bunch of us took over the Eagles Flight for a spin.
I got some decent action on the eagles and according to our unbiased observer I got the best action of the whole crew. The thing is that I'm the local boy who knows the ins and out of this ride. You've just got to get in the right groove and you'll have a good ride. The only thing that's bad about this picture is that you can see the clear spot of thinning hair on the top of my head. My plans are to just cut it all off if I go bald. So I guess at some point in my future my nick name will be "Curley".
In the afternoon was the Voyage's construction tour. Here's Rachel giving everyone the rules before we all headed down the hill into the construction site.
