Walking up the construction road Holiday World & Splashin' Safari's new for 2005 Bahari wave pool doesn't look that impressive from here.

Of course when you get up to it Bahari is quite big.  A lot of work was going on with Bahari and Holiday World & Splashin' Safari had a construction tour for the media to show the progress that they're making on getting it ready for the hot Indiana summer that's almost around the corner.

Bahari is a huge interactive wave pool with a section that juts out into the center of it.  On that little peninsula is going to have three Tiki idols on it that will get you soaked if the waves haven't already.  Some of the work that was going on today was the detailed cement work to add the theming to Tiki area of Bahari.

I know when you hear of Tiki idols you flash back to that awful Brady Bunch episode where they go to Hawaii and Peter picks up that Tiki Idol that has an evil curse on it that causes Greg to wipe out while surfing the big wave.  Well you're not going to have to worry about that here because the Tiki area is primarily there so Holiday World & Splashin' Safari's life guards can keep an eye on everyone and be close by should anyone pull a Greg Brady.
