Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Santa Claus, Indiana 2005 Construction February 15, 2005 Page One
Even though it's been a month since the last update a lot has been going on at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in preparation for the 2005 season. As you can see there is now a huge mound of dirt as tall as the employee services building from Bahari's construction. With the freak flooding of Splashin' Safari last year due to having four inches of rain in a hour the stream bed has been widened to be able to accommodate the removal of water should Santa Claus, Indiana be hit with that much rain ever again.
They have even widened the stream bed on the other side of the highway to keep from water bottlenecking by the highway. The Round House is still at Holiday World in the employee parking lot. The ride's trailer is to the right while the red parts to the left are the actual ride car.
