On April 8, 2004 Paula Werne, PR Director of Holiday World & Splashin' Safari took Carrie, Bond and I through the park to see how the 2004 additions and park improvements were coming along.

You know you're the man when your parking space sign doesn't even need a last name on it.

It's always interesting being at Holiday World when it's not open.  What's the most stunning is how you can hear everything happening in the park.  For example hammering down at the other end of the park sounds like it's at the Raven.

One of the changes that's hard to miss at Holiday World for 2004 is the fact that they're now smoke free.  

Now being smoke free doesn't mean that smokers are not welcome.  It just means that you have to go to a designated area to smoke.  The deck right across from Kringle's is pretty nice.  Personally I'd love to hang out here and would except for the fact that I get migraines from the smoke.
