Everyone of course ran for the newly opened Maverick including Greg and I but after getting a jolt of adrenaline on that we decided that we needed a giga fix on Millennium Force.
Exclusive ride time in the morning was from 6 to 8:30am and with the bulk of the crowd hanging out on Maverick there wasn't much of a line for the other morning ERT coasters including Millennium Force.
Coming over the crest of Millennium Force's lift hill is just gorgeous. You have all of Sandusky Bay to your left and all of Cedar Point ahead and to the right of you. The view to me just really makes this ride. Of course the speed and airtime on it doesn't hurt.
Only at an enthusiast event will you have a coaster with every single rider in the "look Ma no hands" position. Millennium Force is great in the front but the airtime coming over this hill while sitting in the back is fantastic.
