The Blue Two Backyard Coaster March 10, 2006 Page Two
Instead of being set in concrete footers the Blue Two is made to be portable. It sits on metal pads on the ground and the track sections are bolted together rather than welded.
The Blue Two is quite a bit shorter than the Blue Flash as it only is a little over ten feet tall. The Blue Flash was made for thrills Blue Two is built to be a coaster the whole family can ride together as it is being built with a train carrying four riders.
Here's the top of Blue Two's lift. John did a fantastic job with the curves of the track making what should be a significantly smoother ride than its predecessor.
With Blue Two's supports in the middle of the Blue Flash's helix John has added a bit of a head chopper to the flash's finale.
