Next to the Kentucky Rumbler where the Looping Star used to sit is now an area filled with children's rides. I was thrilled to see a classic Mangels Whip there.
Unfortunately it is a Junior Whip or I'd go for a ride. These rides are so much fun there should be one at every park. Just look at the grin on that little girl. Whips are a blast.
The Looping Star reopened this year with not only a new location about a hundred feet from its previous one, but also a new sign and new trains.
Here's Kevin going for a ride on the Looping Star's new trains. They are a definite improvement over the previous trains but the roughness left me bruised.
