Beech Bend Park Bowling Green, Kentucky 2006 Coaster Construction January 23, 2006
The Kentucky Rumbler looks like it is almost ready to rumble.
The station is complete and as you can see it is almost completely buried in the ride itself with track going over and around it.
Some of the track is complete with rails already added like you see on the stretch to the left of center in this picture while the turn on the right side of the photo has a few layers of wood down but no rail yet.
It looks like the Rumblers lift is ready to go with not just track but chain and anti-rollbacks installed as well. As I remember it the Kentucky Rumbler should be ready to start testing in mid-March and then ready to open in early May.
They've been busy all around Beech Bend with what looks like a new entrance gate. Thanks to Brian Krampe for these pictures.
