Beech Bend Park Bowling Green, Kentucky 2006 Announcement & Construction July 28, 2005 Page One
On Thursday July 28, 2006 it was time for Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky to unveil their plans for 2006. I was once again headed down the park's beautiful entrance lane that takes you through the rolling hills of Kentucky.
Coming over a crest of a hill it was was hard to miss the work that was being done off in the distance.
With not just the footers but the structure as well my guess was that Beech Bend was getting around to adding the wooden rollercoaster that I've been hearing about since my first visit to this park in 2002.
Beech Bend's owner Dallas Jones was there to announce the parks largest expansion project ever with a new 2,827 foot long wooden coaster as the centerpiece.
