Beech Bend Park Bowling Green, Kentucky Press Conference & 2006 Construction Tour October 28, 2005 Page One
It had been a while since I had been back to Beech Bend to check out how their new coaster was going and with the park inviting enthusiasts to a press conference where the name for their new coaster was to be unveiled I worked around a few things to make sure I could attend. It was fantastic coming over the hill into the park and seeing this magnificent view.
Park owner Dallas Jones started off the festivities by welcoming everyone there and talking a bit about the coaster.
Jeff Pike of Great Coasters who designed the ride got up and gave a lively discussion about the ride. I love listening to Jeff because he is so passionate about what he does it is hard not to get as excited as he is.
And then after talking about the different names that were submitted to the "Name The Coaster Contest" it was decided that the new name would be.....
