Beech Bend Park Bowling Green, Kentucky June 18, 2004 Page Two
In the two years since I last visited Beech Bend Park they have kept very busy adding to and upgrading the park. The biggest addition in that time has been Splash Lagoon, their new water park.
Splash Lagoon is up hill from the entrance gate and is pretty attractive looking, especially during those hot Kentucky summer days.
Unfortunately with just 45 minutes in the park and wearing slacks, a shirt and a tie I wasn't wearing the proper attire to go for a slide.
With the addition of Splash Lagoon, Beech Bend's previous water slides that looked like they've been at the park since the late 70's have been closed. But don't worry these look like a lot more fun than the old slides.
